A series of games by
Sega. The games are a combination of wargame and love simulator. The
first games were for the
Sega Saturn, and later moved on to the
Sega Dreamcast. The series was popular enough to be turned into
OVAs, a TV series, and movies. Even though Sakura Wars was one of the
most popular series for the Saturn and Dreamcast in Japan, Sega chose not
to release them in other countries, helping contribute to the demise of
these systems.
