Himizu Ryu - Japanese Martial Arts

Himizu Ryu is a Japanese martial art system thought to have originated in 1609. Also known as "himizu ryu sogo sento kagaku hoho" (火水流統合戦闘科学方法) meaning "fire water school - comprehensive combative scientific system". It is taught today in both Japan and United States. Himizu Ryu teaches all four major forms of combat including striking, throwing, restraining and weaponry thereby being known as a comprehensive martial art (統合武術 "sogo bujutsu")
