Osaka school massacre - June 8, 2001, Osaka, Japan
 

The Osaka school massacre took place at an elementary school in Osaka, Japan.

On, June 8, 2001, 37-year old Mamoru Takuma armed himself with a kitchen knife, entered an elementary school and stabbed children. He killed eight children, including five girls in the second grade, and wounded 18 children and 3 teachers.
