Terada Torahiko - Japanese physicist and author
 

Terada Torahiko (寺田寅彦, November 28, 1878 - December 31, 1935) is a Japanese physicist and author. He was a professor of Tokyo Imperial University, worked on vast area of physics. Also he was a professor of Earthquake Research Institute.

As an author he studied under Natsume Soseki, who was a teacher of his highschool in Kumamoto. Terada is best known for his essays.
