Seiyuu - Japanese term for voice actor
 

Seiyuu (声優) is a Japanese term that roughly equates to a voice actor/actress for both radio and television. On television, they are mostly used in anime and commercial advertisements.

Notable seiyuu include: (Japanese version unless noted)

  • Asakawa Yuu - (Motoko Aoyama, Sakaki)
  • Hayashibara Megumi - (Rei Ayanami, Faye Valentine, Haruka Urashima, Ranma (female))
  • Horie Yui - (Naru Narusegawa, Mitsuko)
  • Mitsuishi Kotono - (Sailor Moon, Misato Katsuragi, Excel, Ebichu)
  • Houko Kuwashima - (Yurika Misumaru, Minoru Kokubunji, Sango)
  • Kappei Yamaguchi - (Inuyasha, Ranma (male), Artemis (Sailor Moon (live action)))
  • Kikuko Inoue - (Belldandy, Mizuho Kazami, Tendo Kasumi)
  • Minami Takayama - (Kiki, Konan)
  • Noda Junko - (Maho Izawa, Konno 'Kitsune' Mitsune)
  • Ryou Horikawa - (Vegeta, Takuma)
  • Satsuki Yukino - (Kagome Higurashi, Mutsumi Otohime, Milly Thompson)
