Yellow Magic Orchestra - Japanese Techno-Pop band
 

Yellow Magic Orchestra were a Japanese Techno-Pop band, formed in 1978.

The principal members were Haruomi Hosono (bass), Yukihiro Takahashi (drums) and Ryuichi Sakamoto (keyboards). Making abundant use of synthesizers and computers, Blending synthesizers and computer, their popularity and influence extended beyond Japan.
