Here it is, I'm trying to get it to say "Made In Japan" but I think it says "Made Domestically"... ??? I'm not sure.

I'm thinking this might say "Made In Japan" lol... maybe? Or am I getting further off?

This one is good. A literal transaltion of this one means "made domestically" but since it is written in Japanese, it means "made in Japan". To write "made in Japan" any other way in Japanese is rather strange because that phrase would never really be written in Japanese (since the rest of the world could not read it).

Ok, now I'm thinking that IF you want this to be a decoration, that is not for the actual shirt tag, then you may wish to literally write "Made in Japan", it looks a little nicer and would be fine as a catchy shirt logo. I have attached both a jpeg image and the Word document if you want it.

Thanks so much! I appreciate it a lot! I'll continue reading these forums and maybe I'll actually pick something up! :)

The phrase of "made in Japan" is called not only "nihonsan" but also "nihonsei" in Japan. The Kanji is as follows.

I introduce Kanji in my site. If you would like to see it, please click here (http://side.secret.jp/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=34).

That's different from the first response, I went ahead and used the first one, does it have a different meaning? :)

Don't worry about it.
I think that there are no great difference in the meaning.

Karennn, do we get to see the finished product?

I hereby grant you permission to advertise if it's for sale.

Well I don't have any pictures online or the current product itself, which was a "Made In Japan" store t-shirt... they actually sold really really well. They're for our anime/manga store in Endicott NY. Our website is www.madeinjapan.us :)
For pictures of the actual store I suggest checking out our halloween party pictures from this past saturday, they're online at: http://www.madeinjapan.us/Halloween05/

I don't mean to double post but it's been nearly a year since the last time I responded. I like to think that the help you all gave has something to do with the incredible success we've had with our logo and with our store!

You can see the kanji incorporated into just about all of our logos now at www.madeinjapan.us and we are moving to a brand new much larger store in the next couple of weeks because of how tremendously we've done. The "Made In Japan" logo will be on a massive front awning and a 35 foot lighted pole sign, woohoo! :D
