I'd like to announce a new site for practicing hiragana and katakana:

http://www.realkana.com/

It has a drill mode, and you can practice with seven different typefaces, some of which are pretty challenging.

Ganbatte!

Looks good. Have you added this to our links directory (http://www.japan-101.com/links/)?

I'd like to link to your site too.
Its very useful and I love the simple design! Only if there is some way to get scores. :)

Just a note to let people know I've updated the site.

The new version also lets you practice the "double" hiragana and katakana (like "kya"), and the extended katakana characters (like "vu"). Plus it has some new typefaces to practice with.

(And, you can see your score by moving your mouse over the character when you're in practice mode.)

I was just trying it out but seem to encounter the old "This page cannot be displayed" error when trying to practice.

Anyone else getting this error?

Hello again Japan-101:

Just letting you know that I have now added the kanji equivalent to my popular Real Kana site, called, unsurprisingly, Real Kanji:

http://www.realkanji.com/

Comments welcome!

Thanks for the update. Unfortunately your page wasn't loading. I'll have to check back later.
