Hurricane Rita may disrupt things a bit

Greetings all:

I want to apologize to the people who I was supposed to respond to on a couple of issues. My time has been stolen by Hurricane Rita as I live in Houston Texas and it's heading here quickly. After this message it may a while, hopefully not too long, before I can get back online.

In the meantime deahippo and yaschan have been doing a great job of keep things lively here and many thanks to the both of you for doing so.

I'll see you all on the other side of a hurricane. Wish me luck.

We stayed safe. It passed just to the East.

My wife and I spent the night hunkered down in a safe-room with canned food, flashlights, a dog and a cat. We were very relieved to find our world OK in the daylight. Trees down and no power but OK. I can't find too much joy in this as cities just 100 miles East of us where the eye passed were hit very hard. Rita could have gone any which way, we got lucky, others did not.
