I had chance to meet keeper of the Japanese onsen ryokan. He is really interesting person who is in fact ex engineer for Nissan and Subaru.
I recommend this place. It's little expensive but if you are travelling up there in Gifu, I recommend to at least pay a visit. I was really touched by the person's peacefull, natural personality.
