What a way to make a first impression. :smile:

It should be pointed out to visitors that similar images would not remain in these forums but this one is from the annual Kanamara Matsuri Festival (http://www.2camels.com/destination92.php3) in Kawasaki Japan, an annual event with an interesting history and a real part of Japanese culture. I'm not certain of the history presented in the article referenced in the link. Maybe you can confirm.

replace the men in headbands to men in drag

and the fact that none of the many japanese people living in nearby yokohama that i asked had ever heard of this festival the article rings true
i also believe that this type of festival isnt all that uncommon
