Namba Parks

Namba is urban area located in southern part of Osaka. It is a popular business and shopping quarter that is loved by wide generation without distinction of age or sex. For example, Takashimaya, a big old-established department store and Namba City, which is a place of starting young trends. Many people go to Namba and enjoy shopping.
Namba Parks is a large market consisting of a high office building called �Parks Tower� and a shopping mall with a big roof garden. In shopping mall, there are about 100 shops and 20 cafe and restaurants. You can buy clothes, shoes, general goods, furniture, jewelry, make-up and many other things.

Various kinds of restaurants, like Japanese, Korean, Italian and so on stand in a row on the 6th floor. Scent of nice foods wafted from each restaurant. Various kinds of shops, like sundry goods shop, clothes, sporting goods and so on are on 2nd to 5th floor. Each shop had original moods and individualities. Customers were various generations from teenager to senior.

Osaka Harbor and bridgeIf you go to Parks Garden, which is a big roof garden, you can see a lot of greenery that you can get you to forget that you�re in the middle of the big city. You can enjoy greenery as it changes from season to season. There is an amphitheater here. A live and show are held there. You can join the events not only as an audience but also as a one of the performers. It�s also possible for you to have your own vegetable garden in Parks Gardens and to set up your small wagon shop.

Since Namba parks has opened up on 7th October, many people has been visiting there. It is expected to be a symbolic place of Namba in 21st century.

It is located 3~8 minutes walking from Namba sta. of subway Midosuji, Yotsubashi, and Sennichimae line takes you there. Nankai Namba sta. is connected directly there. This is the place that is convenient for traffic so you can go there easily even from Nara and Wakayama. Also, you can get to Kansai international airport in 29 minutes using the Nankai Rail way.
