Toyonaka, Japan - Osaka Prefecture
 

Toyonaka (豊中市; -shi) is a city located in Osaka, Japan.

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 388,980 and the density of 10,692.14 persons per km². The total area is 36.38 km².

From the ancient time the nowadays Toyonaka had a good population. Jokyu incident occured related to a manner in Toyonaka. A case on a manner between a favarite lady of the retired emperor Gotoba and a local Jitou was wrongly resolved then the former had Gotoba deal with the case in favor for her.

The city was founded on October 15, 1936. Osaka University and Osaka Music College locate their campuses in Toyonaka.

Osaka International Airport is partially located in Toyonaka including its terminal, although it is more commonly associated with the city of Itami.
